Jaya Prasad (JP) Reddy Guthi

I am a graduate student in the Computer Science department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (PMP). I am currently focusing on query optimization techniques and building efficient data structures for use in database systems.

Prior to this, I worked at Microsoft on Azure SQL DB and also did a short stint at Akamai Technologies, both in Bangalore, India. I graduated from RV College of Engineering with a Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2019.

Apart from databases, I enjoy staying active through fitness and spending time outdoors. I'm also passionate about music - exploring new genres, learning drums, and going to live shows.
